Architect Jacek Tryc has completed a modern apartment in Warsaw, Poland, that features a monochromatic color palette that was inspired by summer trips to the Arctic Circle.
The colors of the furniture have a subdued palette of gray that breaks up the whitewashed parquet wood.
In the dining area, a touch of green has been added with a plant, while the floor to ceiling curtains provide privacy and soften the interior.
Adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen, that showcases minimalist white cabinets, grey countertops, and a grey backsplash that covers the wall.
A small hallway connects the social areas of the apartment with the bedroom. The hallway also acts as a foyer as it passes by the front door.
In the bedroom, sculptural lighting fixtures add an artistic flair, while a grey-tiled section of the floor is home to a freestanding bathtub.
Built into the wall at the end of the bed is a desk and a shelving niche.
A large walk-in closet has plenty of room for hanging clothes and storing shoes. A mirror on the end wall makes the space feel larger, while the rods have hidden lighting to show off the clothes and brighten the space.
In the bathroom, large format grey tiles cover the walls and floors, while a floating white vanity complements the faucets and hardware.
