PINS Studio Architecture & Interiors has designed a modern apartment in Selangor, Malaysia, with a welcoming and bright interior that’s been inspired by Scandinavian minimalism.
The main social areas of the house, like the living room, dining room, and kitchen, are all located at one end of the apartment. A gray accent wall, floor-to-ceiling curtains, and sofa complement the light wood tones and white accents.
Sliding black-framed glass doors separate the kitchen from the living room and dining room. The minimalist kitchen features white cabinets and a white island, as well as a contrasting section of cabinets with chalkboard fronts.
Behind the living room is the dining area. A wall of floor-to-ceiling white cabinets includes a seating nook that acts as a bench for sitting at the dining table.
Herringbone wood flooring, neutral colors, natural fibers, and plants create a calm environment for the bedroom.
There’s also a walk-in closet that has been designed with white cabinets, a small vanity, and a floor-to-ceiling mirror behind the door.
